Party speaker hire for summer 2014 and 2015 on the Northern Beaches of Sydney

Summer is fast approaching and it is time to plan your party event or wedding on the northern beaches of Sydney.

At Northern Beaches PA Hire and our sister company Northern Beaches Speaker hire we have a great range of brand new hi quality affordable sound solutions for any event or party on the Northern Beaches.

From  the latest technology Behringer B112W with Bluetooth capability means no more cables 500 watts of usable power and wireless linking between speakers, they sound great and are great fun to use at any party or wedding. At $45 with stand an power leads they are the first stop for 21sts, 18ths and house parties.

Moving up from there we have the JBL PRX range for the serious DJ, plenty of bottom end for dance music
these are proven and sound great when used with Pioneer mixers, at $55 they are great solution for upto 300 people
The QSC K10 and K12 series of powered speakers were a game changer when they came out, superbly flexible inputs and solid construction means they are very popular. We use these at conferences and for speech as the vocal boost is great when using wireless mics etc.. $60 to hire for 24hrs
My personal favorite is the RCF HD12  Italian made with a huge pedigree this box is 600 watts of clean usable power and is my go to box for all vocal applications as the hi end is second to none for a sub $1500 box. They really are worth the extra few dollars if sound is important to you.$70 for 24 hrs

Subwoofers add some decent bottom end to any party and we use QSC KSUBS and the ultra portable EV ZXA1  rated at 1000 watts and 700 watts respectively, not always needed but for a bigger room it can change the sound dramatically.
Both these subs are great i like the EV as it is so light you can carry it in one hand two will give you 1400 watts of tight punchy bass ideal for smaller venues where 18inch subs will sound muddy at $50 each they are first stop for subs. The QSC is bigger and is on casters sounding great with two 12 inch cones and 2x 500 watt amps in slightly larger venues but you will need a van to move them effectively.

We also have partner companies who can offer larger setups for bands gigs and events and some professional sound engineers who have worked with the best in the business.

Tim Carrol is a veteran of the live music scene having many credits to his name including setting up the original sound system at the legendary Basement in Sydney. He specializes in Jazz, Roots and Country, he has a great rig and the experience and patience to ensure that you are getting the best from the desk, the speakers and the operator. Jazz and acoustic music is the most difficult to replicate well live, if you need this level professionalism for your gig contact us to book the master Tim Carrol.

We are also partnered with Lights To Party who provide the ultimate lighting solutions. And AVA Party hire for all your event infrastructure this summer from Glasses to dancefloors.

New Behringer Bluetooth Wireless speaker system hiring now at Northern Beaches PA Hi

Hire now at Northern Beaches PA Hire
Hire now at Bondi PA Hire

At Bondi/ Northern Beaches PA Hire we are a skeptical bunch we only use what we know and what has been reliable in the past with uncompromising sound quality and reliability.

JBL, QSC and RCF are our main brands backed up by the popular Wharfedale 12d party speakers with Ipod connection.

Galactic music phoned and said you must see and hear the new Behringer B112 Bluetooth 500 watt speaker system. After trying to put Tom off with various other priorities that could not be avoided he arrived, with the speaker, i set it up alongside the Wharfedale 12D and a QSC K10 to get a comparison.

Tom was not fazed and we went through a test of my two and then when it came time for the Behringer b112 he said "stop you don't need the cables its Bluetooth"! This threw me for a few seconds so i put the connection cables down and went to my Bluetooth settings on the phone , ther it was ready to pair, a couple of bleeps and we were synced, "this is too easy i was saying to myself".

And that was it i was playing my tracks from the phone with no annoying cables, and it sounded great, plenty of bass and headroom without distortion very impressive, i could also connect to the second speaker via Bluetooth with no link cables, my partner from Bondi PA Hire was impressed saying "Bye Bye Wharfedale's" and to be fair they do sound that little bit better maybe due to volume.

They are not going to replace the K10s, PRX 612's or The RCF HD 12's that we carry but for fun and ease of use these were great sounding boxes with dual mic or line inputs and EQ on the back too.

So if you are having a party and want to amaze your friends even have different music playing in different parts of the house or mansion then these are what you need, plenty of power to annoy the neighbours and keep the party rocking.

Hiring now at $50 per unit from us at Northern Beaches Speaker Hire or Northern Beaches PA Hire.

QSC K 12 powered speakers for hire this summer on the Northern Beaches

We have a new order of QSC K12 speakers arrive and we have been using them extensively the last couple of weeks with good results.

QSC K series speakers hiring now on the Northern Beaches of Sydney

Initially i avoided this particular speaker as it was expensive very heavy and untried in the Rental market.
The JBL PRX  and RCF art being the choice for Djs and bands respectively were serving me well for their ease of use weight and price point.
I ordered a pair of K10s and found them instantly useful being able to run three inputs at once suddenly made sense at small weddings or events such as the Walk for brain cancer which needed a fast setup with minimal equipment and wanted background music with the microphones.
The K12s offer a bit more sound and sound great at low to mid volume i am not that impressed with them at high volume but am thinking it may have something to do with the quality of the sound source being a phone with an MP3 running through it so will give it a test with vinyl and a decent mixer and see what comes back.
For Versatility though these area great option  and can be very useful in a situation where space and a quick setup time are important.
They are heavy and quite bulky to handle if you are a smaller person these may be hard to manage, the K 10 is much easier to work with if that is the case.

The JBL PRX is light sounds great loud but has only one input, the new 7 series has more options as far as connectivity goes great for DJs this is still the go to speaker for dance music
The RCF ART 315A
This speaker has great hi end reproduction and sounds awesome in a live situation with female vocalists especially a great vocal speaker
