Northern Beaches PA and Speaker Hire 2015/2016 Summer Parties and Weddings on the Northern Beaches

Busiest Summer yet for the hire department of choice on the Northern Beaches

We have been lucky to have now got a great customer base and relationship with so many Venues, Wedding Planners, Bars, Restaurants, Clubs, Councils, Cafes and Charity groups in the area

                                 The Boathouse Group

A live band on the deck at The Boathouse

Dj Setup at the Boathouse Shelley Beach

The Boathouse Group have been providing us with interesting and fun events to organize at their

amazing locations across the beaches, the best place for your younger funkier wedding super cool surroundings, great staff and a location to die for the new number 1 in our books.

Longreef Golf Club

An awesome spot with great parking and super attentive staff, Stephanie is a ball of energy and will

go the to the extra effort to make sure it is a day to remember.

The wind can sometimes be a problem with a north east wind playing havoc with the microphones!

A great spot for a winter wedding in our opinion.

 Longreef summer wedding 2016

Great access for the audio equipment!

Pacific Club Palm Beach

Jah Bar Dee Why

We have been providing sound and Dj equipment for the popular Reggae evenings on Tuesday's at this new venue, great food and an awesome view work well with some modern and classic sounds.
A simple setup of two powered speakers and Pioneer decks, is unobtrusive and patrons can still talk
due to the height and angle of the speakers.

Belgrave Cartel Manly

This is still the Sunday night spot to head to in Manly if you want to mix it with the locals and the modern day Manly Push!

Each week the venue is packed to the rafters with the in crowd  moving in a warm lather to the sounds of local selector Adam Russo.

Adam prefers CDJ 900's and a Behringer NOX 606 mixer  over a Pioneer DJM which is unusual, the mixer is feature packed with filters and effects, and i'm happy as its cheap to replace if a beer falls in!

Guitars for hire Northern Beaches

And finally just for something different we are building a small range of guitars and basses for hire.

Mainly aimed as props for promo shoots or to brighten up a band shoot rather than for gigs, we have more coming that will look great at your next party or event, starting at $40 per night.

Northern Beaches PA hire summer 2015/2016 weddings events, parties and charity events

This month at Northern Beaches PA Hire has been busy with a wide variety of events

November is always a busy time to get married and there is no place better than the Northern beaches of Sydney.

Our two favorite venues  The Boathouse and Long Reef Golf Club have kept us busy with varied weddings and functions.

We have also discovered a new gem Milestone events at Manly, this family run business has secured the Sargent's Mess at North Head. this venue is set in the ground of the old army barracks and is a great place for a wedding as you can be in a private place and you can be as noisy as you like!!

There is also a bus to take everyone home at the end.

Superb attention to detail with this family run business means flexibility and a great event every time

Check out the pics and look at the website http://www.milestoneevents.com.au/

Elements for hire Wedding stylists

We have been kept busy with Robyn from Elements For Hire who is based on the northern beaches and has a keen eye for detail. Summer is a busy time for all wedding stylists and we keep running into Robyn around the area so obviously people have found her services are first class.

A Walk for Brain Cancer 2015 Manly

For the 4th year we organised the sound system at this event at Shelley beach 4 powerful   QSC k series speakers sent the message and the music to warm up the crowd at this worthwhile event

CELEBRITIES  including rugby league great Brad Fittler, Miss Universe Australia Monika Radulovic and a few Manly Sea Eagles will be joining a huge charity walk starting at Shelly Beach on Sunday.

They will all be supporting the Walk4BrainCancer, which aims to raise $150,000 for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Clontarf’s Bec Lucas, 23, started the event five years ago in honour of her father, Tony, who had just died from the terrible disease.

“Dad very much believed in the work of the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and channelled a lot of his energy into raising funds and awareness,” she said.

Sabrina 17, Nathan 19, Aaron 21, and Bec Lucas 23. Picture: Braden Fastier

“I wanted to continue his legacy and also make a difference, so that other families don’t have to go through what (our family) did.

“The first year, we hoped to get 200 walkers and raise $20,000, but we got 800 walkers and raised $80,000.”

International college of Management Manly, Royal Far West School Christmas party 2015

We were proud to help the students at the ICMS college Manly who are organizing the Christmas party for the Royal Far West School in Manly, we have had a long relationship with both organisations and are happy to help spread a bit of Christmas spirit to local charities.

if you have a charity event and need advice or equipment give us a call at Northern Beaches PA Hire

Weddings and Events in November at Northern Beaches PA Hire

Pacific Club Wedding, SurfAid Sumba and Halloween

A busy Weekend with Northern Beaches PA Hire

Summer has arrived and we are feeling the heat in the sunny northern beaches of Sydney. The warm weather means weddings and outdoor events are kicking in as the longer days and warm evenings are more agreeable than winter evenings.

The Pacific Club in Palm Beach

A great spot for a wedding with a great 50's style Colonial fit out it surprised us with its laid back style but efficient staff and wonderful views.

We organised a Roland BA 55 battery powered system to play music and allow the 50 or so guests to hear the celebrant and the couple exchange vows. High wind was a problem so a dense pop filter was slipped over the microphone to calm the noise from the wind.

We also setup powered speakers with Ipod inputs at the Pacific Club for the reception in a courtyard to allow the reveling to keep on till late into the night.

Palm Beach is a great wedding destination if you are thinking of getting married there take into account the travel time and parking as it can be tricky on a weekend!

Surfaid Sumba fund raiser at Bill Buckle's private home

Surfaid is a great organisation and is making changes around the world with its clean drinking water initiatives and other projects.

Surfaid Sumba was raising awareness and money to improve the drinking water in the the surfing mecca.

We provided a projector and screen along with microphone and speakers to show a short video and allow the speakers to be heard in this wonderful beach side setting. The main priority for the event was simplicity and fail safe performance on the night  so we tested all the kit before the event and checked it all again insitu

The event was a great success and the profile of Surfaid Sumba was raised locally.

Halloween and Northern Beaches PA Hire

We were running flat out all weekend to various Halloween   parties and bands playing at house parties and small venues, what i noticed is the problems of feedback through the mics in a lounge room with wooden floors and no damping from any surface was a bit tricky with a room full of demons and monsters!

Behringer B112w update from the hire dept

We have hired 14 of the workhorse Behringer B112w's  for 2 years now out every weekend and are very impressed with how they have survived the general abuse they have received.

These speakers come back covered in sand, beer, spirits and wet through to a point where i'm slightly reluctant to turn them on!

So far we have had one tweeter blow which is impressive, the cases look god still and the bluetooth function works perfectly , if you are after a decent cheap speaker that will last then you cant go far wrong with these

Positive Feedback

Always nice to have happy customers, it costs us nothing to look after each person that comes to us for advice to hire or purchase. Contact us on 0407 498 970

Joel from Northern Beaches PA Hire was unbelievably helpful when I purchased my portable PA speaker system. He was extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming with his advice.

He made me feel at ease and confident with the technology, giving me personal tips and followed up to check I was comfortable afterwards.

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Northern Beaches PA Hire & Joel wen't above and beyond.

Swim Carnivals, Northern Beaches Weddings 2015 Duke's Day 2015 and NYE 2015

Northern Beaches PA Hire has been flat out this Xmas and New year

We are just coming up for air after a hectic holiday period with plenty of weddings and outdoor events with great weather here on Sydney's northern beaches.

All sorts of events were being celebrated in Manly for NYE 2015 we hired lots of sound and light packs to the bars and individuals bringing the new year in style.

Popular items such as Pioneer CDJ 900's and 2000's were running out the door, Aloha Manly , Elbeau Room, Sugarlounge and Havana Beach all threw a big night for a select few ticket holders.

A new one for us has been Swimming Carnivals, using the powerful but light Behringer B112W speakers we have been able to cover 50m pools with ease with up to 1000 people on site, mics and background music. From Drummoyne to Freshwater we are servicing a new market for us with these cost effective speakers.

Duke's Day Freshwater 2015 Northern Beaches Pa Hire

This event ran over 3 days and various bits kit were being run back and forth for different events over the period lots of fun in and out of the water.

Mckillop out look wedding Northern Beaches

We had a great wedding at Mckillop lookout Freshwater  great weather and an amazing singer from Burundi made it a memorable event with some colourful guests and funny moments

We used a Roland BA 55 with Reverb for the singer and boosted the sound with a Mipro act770 to provide some fill to the sound at this windy spot  with 100 guests we thought it maybe tricky, but were relieved to find no wind  so it made life a lot easier.

We have had a great start to Summer hear at Northern Beaches PA Hire with some great weather for our out door season. Some new equipment has arrived and the phone has been ringing off the hook with people wanting our great sounding speakers and personal service

A Beach walk for Brain Cancer was again a huge success with nearly 2000 walkers involved raising $130,000 for Brain Cancer. Bec Lucas was blessed with the weather for the third year, with Mike Baird and Grant Goldman setting off the walkers.

We used to QSC K12 speakers either side of the stage with a simple wired mic set up. The sand is your enemy in this type of environment so simple is good . It all went off without a hitch and we are back on for next year!

Summer weddings at Northern Beaches PA Hire

Outdoor weddings with Portable Speakers on the Northern Beaches

We had a great start to summer with a wedding at Dunes in Palm Beach a great couple from Manly who really enjoyed the day. Out on the grass in strong wind it was going to be a challenge so a variety of kit was loaded into the van.

2 x Roland Ba 55's linked with wireless handheld mic and Sennheiser  Lapel all running off batteries in strong wind!

Also music from a phone just to add extra complication that had to be controlled throughout the wedding.

The Lapel was suffering from wind noise even with a sock so it was dropped and a second Roland handheld mic was used, these mics did not pick up the wind to any audible level which i was surprised and pretty happy with.

The minister had to tape his notes to the Lecturn which blew over twice!

The sound out front was balanced between the two units and the couple and guests had no idea that the wind was a factor and the Roland BA 55's worked flawlessly.

Weddings at Collaroy beach and a Warehouse party with Sydney's Fashion elite Northern Beaches PA style

Outdoor Weddings Northern Beaches sound equipment hire

A busy and wet weekend for everyone, but we managed to dodge the rain for an awesome outdoor wedding on Collaroy beach.
Three vocals and two guitars coupled with 2 Roland BA 55s sounded great even though conditions were tough.
That evening it was a warehouse party in Botany bay with the QSC rig coming into its own helping the A list of the Fashion and TV world boogie the night away ( no pictures allowed on this one ) im afraid.

The sound cut through even with the wind howling as the clouds departed and the sun shone briefly, everybody was in great spirits.
